NumnumIt occurs to me that two of my favorite deserts lately are from Eat 'n Park.
Pistachio whip, and grilled stickies a la mode.
My mother was visiting and we ate at Eat 'n Park, and I got the desertsalad bar. The pistachio whip is awesome and I proclaimed it to be so. My mother asked something along the lines of how one might make it. I boldly proclaimed that I believe it to be equal parts pistachio pudding, and Cool Whip. Simple, no?
But the grilled stickies a la mode are something else. The hot and cold combination is just perfect (assuming you get them at one with a good chef). Kinda like that failed McDonald's sandwich, only really good. But I keep not actually getting them because whenever I go lately, I get the salad bar and I fill up on that...
Posted on Friday, February 18, 2005, at 07:34 AMHi Eric, former roller coaster buddy. I e-mailed your mom that I was going to be in Pittsburgh at The Bradley House for a coaster event (non-riding) from 3-10 or 11 pm on Saturday and staying at the Comfort Inn in West Mifflin. I asked her if she wanted to take a ride with me, and perhaps spend some of the time I'm not there with you. I could either drop her off at your place, or you could come get her at the hotel for dinner, etc. What do you think? I thought it would be fun to get together - even strange as this would seem, and she could see you at the same time. I have to pass through Erie anyhow. Only thing is, I'd like to take 1/2 hour and check out the rubber stamp store - forgot the name and address, will have to relook it up.
How is everything? Valerie and Spencer are going to have a baby in early July! She spent last semester teaching art in Cortona, Italy. I used my free air miles and went to visit with a friend - Jerry wanted to stay on US ground!
